THE LOGO

The logo chosen for the European Cultural Paths project originates from Bohuslän in Sweden. It is a rock carving from the late Bronze Age representing a ship with nine oarsmen. The ship symbolises movement, communication and international relations. This fits in well with the main aim of ECP: to stress the close and far-reaching contacts between Bronze Age people and to link prehistory to our present-day life communicating its heritage to a vast public.

Design: 1999, Anders Bergstedt, Båstad.
